Preparing for a Green Drop Visit

Here’s what you need to do to make sure your lawn is all set for us:

• Remove Debris. A quick clean-up can make a big difference. Scoop up any branches, leaves, or pet waste lying around. This helps us get straight to the grass without anything getting in the way. But don’t worry if you forget to roll up the hose or move the dog toys off the lawn; our GreenKeepers have your back and will remove them before completing your visit.
• Unlock the Gate. Taking that padlock off or propping open that sticky latch goes a long way to make sure our GreenKeepes are in and out as quickly as possible and avoid any potential rescheduling of services.
• Sit Back and Relax. That is all you need to do. After that, sit back, relax and wait for our GreenKeepers to complete your visit with the best products available and state-of-the-art equipment designed specially to produce beautiful results—guaranteed.

What to Expect During the Visit

We try to keep it as smooth and hassle-free as possible for you! During your Green Drop visit, here's what goes down:

• You Don't Have to Be Home. First off, no need to rearrange your day or stick around on our account! As long as we have access to your property, we're good to go. Whether you're at work, running errands, or enjoying your day off, we'll take care of your lawn as planned.
• No knocking before 9 am. Our GreenKeepers will not knock on your door before 9 am, even if they are working on your lawn. After 9 am, we make it a point to knock and let you know we're there. It's a quick check-in to answer any questions you might have and to ensure you’re aware of our presence.
• Backyard Comes First. We typically start our magic in the backyard. Doing this allows us to tackle the larger, often more private areas of your lawn where problems might not be immediately visible from the street. This ensures we address any hidden issues early in our visit. By handling the typically larger and more complex back areas first, we can then move seamlessly to the front, ensuring no part of the treatment is rushed or overlooked.
• We Tag with Flags Once We’re Done. Once we're done, we'll mark your lawn with flags to indicate completion. You'll receive a detailed work order via email detailing every aspect of our visit, including what was done and any important observations or suggestions for your lawn care. This transparency keeps you fully informed and up-to-date on the health of your lawn.

What to Do After a Green Drop Visit

• Watering your Lawn. After our visit, giving your lawn another good watering is crucial, but only once the treatments we’ve applied have completely dried. This helps the grass and soil fully absorb the applied products, boosting their effectiveness. A good soak encourages deeper root growth and helps the new nutrients penetrate further into the soil, setting your lawn up for robust health.
• When to Mow the Lawn. Hold off on mowing your lawn until it has been watered; the longer, the better. This pause gives the treatments ample time to be absorbed by the weeds and grass, maximizing their impact. Mowing too soon can disturb the products' distribution, reducing their effectiveness.
• Recycle your flag. We are always looking for ways to reduce, reuse & recycle. So, after your visit, simply place your lawn flag in the front garden bed or in a planter box on your deck (anywhere it’s easily visible to your GreenKeeper), and we will reuse it during each visit, all season long.
• Enjoy Your Lawn. Now that your lawn is on its way to peak health, it's time to really enjoy it. Whether you’re hosting a backyard barbecue, playing games with the kids, or just lounging in the fresh air, your lush, well-maintained grass is the perfect backdrop.
